1. 5th Grade:
- Students receive Reading Homework packets every Monday and they are due on Fridays as of right now. This policy will change as the year progresses. In-class work that is given and not completed in class then turns into the students homework as well. They are given ample amount of time to work on in-class work so it does not turn into homework.
- They may also receive homework in History and Writing as well.

2. 6th Grade:
- Students receive homework throughout the week that correlate with the story they are reading. They are not necessarily assigned on Monday's and not necessarily due on Friday's -- they usually span over a two week period.
- In History, the students are given a guided notes packet that is their responsibility to complete if not completed in class.
