MUSIC - Ethan Bulak

Welcome to the Esmerelda Santiago Music Webpage. On this page you will be able to learn a little bit about myself as an educator, and find examples of students working and performing throughout the school year. 

 

My name is Ethan Bulak and I am excited to join the staff here at Esmerelda Santiago. I have been teaching music for the last 13 years. Before taking the music teacher position at Santiago, I was the K-8 music teacher at Acero Cruz in Rogers Park where I held the position for the previous 10 years. I am a passionate educator who loves to watch students grow through their musical experiences, and I am excited to be able to experience that with the students here at Santiago.

 

This year at Santiago, the students will be focusing on developing performance skills on a variety of instruments (Drums, Ukulele, Guitar, Xylophone, and Voice), improving their ability to listen critically, and well as exploring different styles and genres of music.
