About Me

My name is Lilly Nelson, I'm the school nurse at Santiago this year. I typically am in office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, though it is subject to change. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I worked as a pediatric nurse at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for the past 3 years before joining Acero Charter Schools in Chicago! My favorite thing about working with kids is seeing their excitement for all the little things in life. I enjoy being outside, going to bookstores, playing board games with my friends, and trying new restaurants.
