Hola Santiago family!

I am Mrs. Delgado, your Bilingual Teacher and ELPT.  This year I will be supporting English language learners by providing native language instruction and coordinate our bilingual program for English language learners at Santiago. I have been a part of the ACERO community for 9 years and this 2023-24 school year will be my 5th year at Santiago. 

I was born and raised in Chicago by parents who immigrated from Mexico as young children. I obtained my bachelor's degree from North Park University on the north side of Chicago. I am passionate about education. I am a strong believer that all students should receive high quality education in and outside their home communities.

When I am not in the classroom teaching or collaborating with colleagues, I enjoy spending my time with my family, focusing on staying active and going to concerts.
